Our Story
Marc Collier
Founder & Managing Director
Marc spent 11 years as an M&A attorney at a leading U.S. law firm and approximately three years in-house, as a de facto general counsel, at a global sports & entertainment agency. He founded Obsidian Jax Capital to acquire and operate a stable, people-focused service business in the Southeast or Sunbelt, a return to his roots.
He brings deep experience in diligence, negotiations, and long-term business stewardship, combined with a respect for owner legacy and local communities. In his downtime, he enjoys weightlifting, grilling, learning Japanese, fandom, reading, psychology, and complaining about his beloved hometown team, the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Obsidian Jax Capital exists to provide a thoughtful,
long term home for exceptional
small businesses.
Our Approach
